“Savii Solutions is a straight talking, down to earth consultancy offering smart solutions & delivering tangible results”

Who are we and do we have the experience to help your business?

Liz Keane – Founder

Savii Solutions is the creation of Liz Keane – who has over 20 years experience in marketing, strategic planning, sales and general management.  Liz has worked in Australia, Papua New Guinea and across the Pacific for companies big and small.  She has worked in multi-nationals, landowner companies and even founded a boutique eco-tourism resort with her husband.  She has developed brands, re-launched brands and worked with budgets that range from almost nothing, to really, really big.

Her experience spans a number of industries, including FMCG, tourism, manufacturing, retail, mixed services and mining.  She has over 10 years’ experience working in Papua New Guinea, having built an eco-resort in Kavieng, before moving on to become PNG Country Manager for a FMCG multi-national.  More recently, Liz was employed by the Anitua Group of Companies as the Group’s Marketing and Communications Manager – managing all things marketing for over 10 different subsidiary companies, including the parent company.    Her Australian experience has seen her work in senior marketing and sales management roles with both a domestic and Pacific Islands focus.

Having recently relocated back to Australia, Liz is now utilising her business and marketing skills, to help businesses within Australia, PNG & the Pacific.  She continues to consult to the Anitua Group of Companies within PNG in addition to providing solutions to her own clients.

Liz has a Degree in Marketing and Organisational Behaviour, a MBA (Masters of Business Administration), a Cert IV in Training and Assessment and specialist qualifications in Strategic Marketing and Social Media.  She is also an accredited Belin Team Role Facilitator.  Inspired by Professor Mark Rehn’s business excellence program – she is now a convert to implementing process improvement strategies.    During her time in PNG, she was involved in a number of community projects including water and sanitation programs, building a pre-school, an anti-malaria campaign, school fee assistance, construction of a community center and elimination of violence against women initiatives.  She is passionate about providing opportunities for women and campaigning to stop violence against women in Papua New Guinea.

Liz’s combination of multi-national marketing and sales experience, teamed with on-the-ground marketing, business strategy and business improvement experience, makes her a fantastic all round marketing consultant experienced in being able to implement solutions that work for your specific business or organisation.  She is a straight shooter and is committed to delivering on her commitments.  You won’t hear a lot of marketing jargon from Liz – she will suggest strategies to help your organisation achieve its goals, and ensure they are tailored to your needs – without confusing you with a heap of waffle.

Linda Van Leeuwen

Dr Linda Van Leeuwen

Savii Solutions is proud to engage the services of Dr Linda Van Leeuwen on key contracts.  Linda tried various roles across a breadth of industries before turning her hand to marketing. She has worked as both a marketing academic and practitioner – what this means is that Linda knows all the theory and what a good marketer is supposed to do as well as what actually works best in the real world. She’s also very good at deciphering ‘mumbo-jumbo’ market research.

With her PhD in customer satisfaction, Linda has a real focus on customer service and understands how to help clients give their customers what they need. Just as importantly, she understands how to satisfy her own clients which have included professional sport clubs, the thoroughbred racing industry, and businesses across the mining, construction, retail, hospitality and security industries both in Australia and overseas.

In addition to university qualifications in marketing and management, Linda also has qualifications and experience in Occupational Health and Safety, as well as Workplace Training and Assessment. These have assisted her to develop and implement internal workplace communication plans (such as those addressing staff health and welfare), some of which have targeted more than 4,000 staff scattered across 30 different operations nationwide. Linda knows that sometimes the most important market we need to communicate with are the people within our own organizations.

Linda is an experienced event organiser (e.g., conferences, product launches, sporting events) but these days prefers to focus on the marketing of events rather than on the operational side of things.

Linda has a flair for writing and has lost count of the newsletters she’s produced and the number of stories she’s had published in newspapers and industry publications for her employers and clients. Skilled at developing high value relationships with the media, Linda also secures TV and Radio coverage for her clients. Linda’s writing skills go beyond pure journalistic. Her almost painful attention to detail paired with a good dose of creative genius means that she is also a talented copy writer (e.g., websites, brochures).

Linda is a human rights activist and her particular passion is working with the business community to help it address and eliminate violence against women. She is a foundation board member of the Business Coalition for Women and Chair of its Addressing Violence working group. Linda developed, implemented and managed the Anitua Group’s Elimination of Violence Against Women program – the company’s foundation corporate social responsibility program. Linda’s work to address gender violence is recognised internationally and she is regularly invited to speak on the topic of ‘Gender Violence and the Workplace’ to the media and at a range of forums and symposia.

Linda’s blend of practical marketing experience and focus on customer service and satisfaction, together with her creative writing skills and communication planning, implementation and managing expertise – makes her a great consultant. Marketing doesn’t have to be complicated or outrageously expensive to be effective. Linda will help you cut through the clutter of the myriad of marketing options available to you to find the solution that works best for your organisation.
